Privacy Policy

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Email address when you signup for an account
• Google account information when you sign up with Google on our site
• Quizzes and Flashcards you create from ChatGPT
• Usage data and quiz/flashcard completion progress
• Leaderboard and collection information
• If you choose to connect Google Forms: OAuth tokens and related metadata needed to create and manage Google Forms on your behalf (see Google Forms integration below)
• Quiz and multiple-choice content you choose to import through our Quizlet extension, after you submit or save it on our site under your account
• Quiz content (questions, answer choices, and correct answers) you choose to export through our NotebookLM Quiz to Google Forms Exporter extension, used to create a Google Form for you
• Quiz and flashcard content you choose to export through our Gemini AI Quiz Maker & Chat Exporter extension, only when you pick the Google Form or shareable web link option

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve our quiz creation service
• Track your quiz performance and progress
• Display leaderboard rankings
• Send you important updates about our service
• Personalize your learning experience
• If you connect Google: create, update, and organize Google Forms in your Google Drive that correspond to quizzes you save in MyQuizGPT

We do NOT collect:

• Your ChatGPT conversation history or chat logs
• Personal or sensitive information from your conversations
• Any data beyond what you explicitly approve

What we collect:

• Only quiz and flashcard content that you explicitly create and share
• Public quiz URLs that you choose to generate
• Your approval is required before any data is saved to our platform

We cannot read your ChatGPT conversations. MyQuizGPT only receives the quiz or flashcard content that you decide to create and share through our service. You maintain full control over what gets stored on our platform.

If you connect the integration, you authorize MyQuizGPT to use Google APIs under your Google account to turn quizzes you save in MyQuizGPT into Google Forms and to place them in your Google Drive. This is only activated when you explicitly start the connection on our site.

OAuth scopes we request for this integration (as implemented in our application) include:

• Google Forms — to create and edit the structure and content of forms we generate for you
• Google Drive (limited “per-file” access) — to create files for those forms and organize them (for example, in a dedicated folder such as “MyQuizGPT — Google Forms” in your Drive)

What we store on our servers: credentials needed to perform this on your behalf (for example, a refresh token associated with your MyQuizGPT account), along with records that link your saved quizzes to the Google Form identifiers we created, so we do not duplicate work and can reflect status in the product.

What we send to Google: data derived from your saved quiz content (such as questions, answer choices, and grading-related fields where applicable) so a Google Form can be created or updated. Google processes that information under Google's own terms and privacy policy.

What we do not use this integration for: We do not use it to read your unrelated Google Drive files, Gmail, Contacts, or other Google products beyond what is required to provide the Forms sync feature described here. Sign-in to MyQuizGPT and the Google Forms connection are separate consents.

Disconnecting: You can disconnect Google Forms from your MyQuizGPT account using the controls we provide (for example on our Google Forms integration page). Disconnecting removes our ability to call Google on your behalf using the stored integration token; forms already created in your Drive remain in your Google account unless you delete them in Google Drive or Google Forms.

You can also revoke MyQuizGPT's access at any time in your Google Account permissions.

We offer a Chrome extension called MyQuizGPT - AI Quiz Generator, which lets you save quizzes and flashcards from myquizgpt.com for offline practice in your browser.

What the extension accesses:

• Quiz and flashcard content that you open on myquizgpt.com/study pages
• The page URL and title of the study set you are viewing

What the extension stores:

• Study set data (questions, answers, cards) needed to let you practice offline
• Metadata such as the original URL, title, and the date/time the set was saved

Where your extension data is stored:

• All extension data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's chrome.storage.local
• This data is not transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties
• You can remove this data at any time by clearing your browser's extension storage or uninstalling the extension

What the extension does NOT collect:

• No browsing history outside of myquizgpt.com study pages
• No personal messages, emails, or private communications
• No sensitive personal information such as financial, health, or authentication data

The extension is designed with an offline-first approach: its sole purpose is to enable you to save and review your study sets from MyQuizGPT offline. It does not sell, transfer, or transmit your data to any external service beyond what is already handled by myquizgpt.com when you use the website.

We offer a separate Chrome extension, GPT Google Form Quiz Maker, that provides a shortcut to start the Google Forms flow on MyQuizGPT. It shows a small popup where you can enter text or pick a file name; it then opens a normal browser tab on myquizgpt.com with hints in the page URL. Your quiz and form creation still happen on the website and in ChatGPT as described elsewhere in this policy.

What the extension does: it opens new tabs to URLs on myquizgpt.com that you trigger from the extension popup. It does not store data in your browser for this feature, and it does not upload file contents or typed text from the extension to our servers—only the normal website handles data you submit after the page loads.

What the extension does not do: it does not read or modify web pages you visit, does not access your browsing history, and does not run in the background. Any data you submit on myquizgpt.com is handled under this policy and our website terms.

We offer a Chrome extension, Quizlet to Google Forms Converter, that helps you move multiple-choice content from a Quizlet page (for example a quiz, test, or exam view, including many Print test layouts) into MyQuizGPT so you can create a study set and optionally sync to Google Forms under the same rules as the rest of this policy.

What the extension accesses:

• Quizlet pages only — text and structure visible on the tab you use (questions, answer choices, and related page data needed to build an export). It does not read your full browsing history.
• MyQuizGPT pages — only to open our import flow and, when needed, pre-fill the import field on myquizgpt.com (for example the Quizlet → Google Forms converter or related import pages).

What the extension stores locally: the extension may keep a temporary copy of the generated quiz JSON in Chrome's chrome.storage.local so a new tab to MyQuizGPT can load the import form with your content; it is cleared after use. This is not used for advertising.

What happens on MyQuizGPT: once you sign in and save or submit content on our website, that content is handled like any other quiz you create or import—see Google Forms integration if you connect Google. The extension itself does not collect your email or password; sign-in happens on myquizgpt.com and Google as usual.

Quizlet: your use of Quizlet remains subject to Quizlet's own terms and policies. We do not control Quizlet's site or data practices.

What the extension does not do: it does not sell your data, does not log unrelated keystrokes or clicks across the web, and does not access sites other than the Quizlet and MyQuizGPT origins declared in the extension.

We offer a Chrome extension, NotebookLM Quiz to Google Forms Exporter, that lets you export a quiz created in NotebookLM Studio to Google Forms in one click. When you open a quiz in NotebookLM and click the Google Form button added by the extension, your quiz is sent to MyQuizGPT to build a Google Form in your connected Google Drive, under the same rules as the rest of this policy.

What the extension accesses:

• NotebookLM pages only — when you click Export, it reads the quiz currently shown on the NotebookLM Studio canvas: the quiz title, questions, answer choices, and the correct answers. The quiz canvas renders inside a sandboxed Google iframe (*.usercontent.goog), so the extension reads from notebooklm.google.com and that frame. It does not read your other notebooks or your browsing history.
• MyQuizGPT pages — only to send the quiz to your MyQuizGPT account to create the Google Form, and to check whether you are signed in and have connected Google Forms.

What the extension does with the quiz: when you click Export, the quiz content is sent to MyQuizGPT (myquizgpt.com) so we can create a Google Form in your Google Drive that matches the quiz, including the answer key so the form can be auto-graded. See Google Forms integration for how Google data is handled.

What the extension stores locally: the extension does not store your quiz content, account data, or browsing activity in your browser. It relies on your normal signed-in session on myquizgpt.com; the extension itself does not collect your email or password—sign-in happens on myquizgpt.com and Google as usual.

New tabs: after an export, the extension opens the created Google Form in a new tab so you can review and send it, and—if you are not yet signed in or have not connected Google Forms—opens the MyQuizGPT sign-in / connection page in a new tab.

NotebookLM: your use of NotebookLM remains subject to Google's own terms and policies. We do not control NotebookLM or Google's data practices.

What the extension does not do: it does not sell your data, does not run on sites other than the NotebookLM and MyQuizGPT origins declared in the extension, does not log unrelated keystrokes or clicks across the web, and does not access your browsing history.

We offer a Chrome extension, NotebookLM to PDF, Quiz and Flashcard Exporter, that lets you export your NotebookLM content—chat conversations, quizzes, flashcards, and mind maps—into many formats (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Markdown, CSV, Anki, Quizlet, OPML, Aiken, QTI, JSON) as well as to Google Forms and shareable web links. When you open a notebook and click the Export button the extension adds to the chat or Studio panel, you choose a format and the file is created for you.

Most exports are processed entirely on your device. PDF, worksheet, printable flashcard, Word, PowerPoint, Markdown, CSV, Anki, Quizlet, OPML, mind-map, and JSON files are generated locally in your browser from the content on the page. That content is not sent to us for those formats.

What the extension accesses:

• NotebookLM pages only — when you click Export, it reads the item currently shown in NotebookLM (the chat, quiz, flashcard set, or mind map): its title and content. This content renders inside a sandboxed Google iframe (*.usercontent.goog), so the extension reads from notebooklm.google.com and that frame. It does not read your other notebooks or your browsing history.
• MyQuizGPT pages — only for the server-assisted actions: creating a Google Form in your Google Drive, generating a shareable web link, checking whether you are signed in, and enforcing the free daily export limit.

Server-based exports (Google Forms and Web link): only if you choose one of these options is the relevant quiz or flashcard content sent to MyQuizGPT (myquizgpt.com) so we can create the Google Form or hosted page for you. For the Google Form option, this includes the answer key so the form can be auto-graded. See Google Forms integration for how Google data is handled.

What the extension stores locally: to enforce the free daily export limit, the extension stores a single small value in your browser—the current date and a count of exports used that day—which resets daily. To keep this limit consistent, we also set a signed cookie on myquizgpt.com holding only that daily count. The extension does not store your exported content, notebooks, email, or password; sign-in happens on myquizgpt.com and Google as usual.

New tabs: the extension opens a new tab to deliver your export (for example a page to save as PDF, the created Google Form, or a shareable link), and—when a signed-in action is needed or you reach the free limit—the MyQuizGPT sign-in / upgrade page.
