Blooket import helper

Quizlet to Blooket

Blooket already has a Quizlet Import workflow, but it expects tab-separated terms and definitions copied from Quizlet. When Quizlet will not show you that export, Quizlet Exporter creates the same clean text file from the set you can view.

How it works

Use Blooket's importer with a reliable source file

Blooket's official workflow asks you to choose Quizlet Import, copy Quizlet's exported text with a tab between each term and definition and a new line between cards, then paste it into Blooket.

Our extension does not bypass or replace Blooket. It supplies the tab/newline text when Quizlet's own Export option is missing or the set is not conveniently available through Quizlet's copy flow.

How to Move a Quizlet Set to Blooket

1

Export the cards

Install Quizlet Exporter, open the Quizlet set, click Export, choose Flashcards, and download the Quizlet term-and-definition file.

2

Open the text file

Open the downloaded .txt file and copy all of its contents. Each row already uses a tab between the two fields and a new line between cards.

3

Choose Quizlet Import

In Blooket, create or edit a question set and choose Quizlet Import. Paste the copied text into Blooket's import box.

4

Check and save

Confirm which column should be the question and which should be the answer, use Blooket's flip option if needed, review the generated questions, and save the set.

What this workflow solves

It restores the source text Blooket's own importer expects.

Works from a Quizlet set that is already visible in your browser
Produces the tab and new-line separators documented by Blooket
Avoids retyping every term and definition
Leaves final question editing and game settings inside Blooket

Blooket remains the destination

Quizlet Exporter does not log into Blooket, create the Blooket set automatically, or choose distractors for you. It creates the source text; Blooket handles the actual import and editing.

Blooket may interpret the left and right columns differently from your intended question direction. Always check the preview and use “Flip questions and answers” when necessary.

No. Download and copy the term-and-definition text, paste it into Blooket's Quizlet Import screen, review the result, and save it in Blooket.
The recommended Blooket workflow uses flashcard terms and definitions. The extension can separately export Quizlet Test questions to other formats, but Blooket's Quizlet Import flow controls how its questions are created.
