How it works
Portable notes without a proprietary format
Markdown is plain text with lightweight formatting, so the download works in Obsidian, Notion imports, GitHub repositories, VS Code, static-site tools, and ordinary text editors.
The extension uses a different layout for each source: flashcard fronts become bold numbered headings with their backs beneath them; quiz questions become bold prompts followed by answer-choice lists and blockquoted hints.

How to Export Quizlet to Markdown

Install the exporter
Add Quizlet Exporter from the Chrome Web Store and refresh the Quizlet tab.

Select the content
Use the set page for flashcards, or open its Test page when you want Quizlet's generated quiz questions and choices.

Download Markdown
Click Export, choose Flashcards or Quiz, optionally enable the quiz answer key, and select Markdown.

Open or import it
Open the .md file in your notes app, code editor, or repository. Edit, combine, link, or convert the text using your normal Markdown tools.

Markdown keeps the text, not the Quizlet experience
The export does not include Quizlet folders, learning progress, audio, images, or interactive study modes. It is intended as a portable text copy you can edit and reuse.
When you export a quiz without its answer key, choice lists remain neutral and written questions receive a blank answer line instead of revealing the expected response.
